We arrived at Divi Little Bay on January 19 – 23. The check in was a little slow but we were aware of that as we had stayed there before. The property is under construction but it is blocked off and not disturbing in any way. The beach is still beautiful and secluded. The only drawback is that two days a week they bring ship people to the beach. It still was not crowded but not as peaceful as when they are not there. The rooms are being upgraded which is good. They are not dirty or anything just outdated. The beach, view and location is what brings us back time and again. You are minuted from Phillipsburg for shopping and close to the casinos for gambling.

If you are eating on property, the food is very good but the service is so slow you have to plan at least on hour from ordering to receiving dinner. Drinks are faster and not watered down.

While in St Martin/st Maarten you should go out to dinner off property as much as possible. This is the gastronomic capital of the Caribbean and there are so many great restaurants. Beware of the French side. Everything is in Euro. Check, alot of places take US Dollars at Par. This is very important.
